What does Cavalor® Dry Feet do?Cavalor® Dry Feet dries the frog and kills the bacteria in the frog that cause thrush.Can I use Cavalor® Dry Feet on the hoof in every situation?It is not advised to apply Cavalor® Dry Feet on dry soles. When the hooves become too dry, they may become too hard and susceptible to cracks. It is important to keep horses hooves dry but a moisture balance of the foot should be maintained.Does it make sense to combine Dry feet with Cavalor® SoleMate or Cavalor® Hoof Conditioner?When your horse is suffering from thrush, Cavalor® Dry Feet should be applied first. If the horses feet remain sensitive, Cavalor® SoleMate may help to relief the sole. Cavalor® Hoof Conditioner nourishes the hoof and gives it a healthy shine.CAUTION ! Apply Cavalor® Dry Feet only on the sole of the hoof! If the skin is sprayed with Cavalor® Dry Feet it may cause irritation because of its strong active ingredients.Why is there more Biotin in Cavalor® Hoof Aid, than in Cavalor® Hoof Aid Special?The daily amount of Biotin is exactly the same in both products. The daily dose for Cavalor® Hoof Aid is 30 gr per day (the Biotin concentration is much higher) and for Cavalor® Hoof Aid Special 150 grams per day.How long do I need to supplement Cavalor® Hoof Aid Special before I notice results?Hoof growth is a slow process. Therefore, results will become apparent after ±6 weeks. It is highly recommended to supplement Cavalor® Hoof Aid Special for 3 - 6 months. In severe cases, continuous administration may be necessary.Should I supplement Biotin for improving hoof quality?Biotine is an important nutrient for hoof growth and quality.However, other nutrients like Methionin, Cupper, Sulfur, Calcium and Vitamine A are also important nutrients for maintaining hoof growth and quality. It is recommended to wet hands before applying. Thoroughly clean all areas of the sole using a hoof pick and a wire brush if necessary. Packing must come in direct contact with sole to be effective. Use an amount of Cavalor® Solemate that is sufficient to cover the sole and sulci of the frog 1 cm in depth. Apply hoof packing evenly over the entire sole. After application, cover with wood shavings or paper.Will Cavalor® Solemate help relieve pain after trimming hoof-sensitive horses?Yes, it will definitely help. Cavalor® SoleMate has painrelieving relieving properties.Could I apply Cavalor® Solemate underneath a hoof pad?Yes, you can apply Cavalor® Solemate underneath a hoof pad.
